چکیده

Bariatric surgery has become more common due to the worldwide obesity epidemic. This surgery is the most effective tool ever devised for the morbidly obese to assist them with the control of their co-morbidities. With the increasing number of bariatric procedures being performed annually, it is expected that the incidence of revisions will increase. However, problems can and do arise, needing revision, because we have not yet settled on the perfect operation for everyone. Nevertheless, although there are many reports in the literature evaluating outcomes after revision of primary bariatric surgical procedures and suggesting operative strategies for revision, there are no data-driven algorithms for surgical revisions. In this review article, we describe indications and examples of revisional surgery when after primary bariatric surgery was failed or occurred complications. And we also considered about the procedure what we need for revisional surgery to be safe and successfully.
